Home again, home again

Back from the cruise. It was fantastic, but this has been a long day of travel, and I am tired. I'll have pictures up by the end of the week. Stay tuned! :)

Hi there

Just popping in to say hello. Things have been pretty hectic this past week. Between visiting relatives, cleaning house, and packing for the cruise (Eep! Expect photos in a couple of weeks, we will be gone March 13-20) there has hardly been time to snap a photo. Besides that, the weather in K.C. has been pretty dismal with rain and grey skies, not ideal photo weather. So, here are a few more from the archives to kick us over into spring (crossing my fingers).

James

A few senior pictures that I took of my baby brother this fall. Hopefully they will tide us over into nicer weather so that I can get outside and start shooting. Spring can't come soon enough.

Eek!

Well, I think its pretty apparent that I have been slacking off. No blog posts for a week?! Craziness. But no worries, we're back with lots of photos from this week. :)
Enjoy!

Warning: if you dislike creepy crawlies (i.e. snakes, spiders, and other insects) you may want to skip over this post

Annie had a blast playing in the snow

Jeff and I decided to make a snowman. You'd probably think this was a pretty easy activity, but you would be wrong. He had to teach me the technique since I had never successfully completed a snowman before, and apparently I am marrying quite the snow crafting expert.

Our snow spartan turned out pretty well! We could have done more, but it was so cold out there we decided to head inside for a hot cup of coffee instead.

On Tuesday we visited my best friend in Manhattan, Kansas. We kept ourselves entertained during her weights practice by visiting the K-State insect zoo. It was time well spent! We didn't exactly know what to expect when we walked into the building, but they had quite a collection of insects, arachnids, and a few reptiles. It was a lot more fun than I expected, and I would definitely recommend a visit if you're in the area.

Hope you had a great week!
